When I run Bootcamp assistant everything seems fine. I am running the most up-to-date version of Big Sur and have the most recent Windows 10 ISO on my desktop. ![]() I'm trying to install Windows on a Bootcamp partition. I have a 2015 iMac 5K with a 2TB internal drive (about a1/4 full) and 24GB RAM. It is curious why the original mystery failure of a working Bootcamp Windows 10 and the new installs all fail at the same point. I have after the freezes rebooted into newly started partition after the freeze and the same thing occurs.īootcamp won't let me use an external USB drive to install, it asks me to eject it. All windows 10 versions Stop at the same point, on the Logo, and go no further. Bootcamp deleting and redoing the partition and have tried multiple older, and brand new bootcamp acceptable windows 10 versions, since the original ISO failed first. ![]() Bootcamp runs through all processes and fails on initial boot at same spot, at the windows logo and I cannot go any further. I use Bootcamp to redo the partition again. I try every possible way to get past it and eventually give up. 1st out of the blue one day Windows freezes at boot up at the Logo.
